The CaritasClinic consists of the location St.Theresia Saarbrücken as well as St.Josef Dudweiler and the academic teaching hospital of the Saarland University. The CaritasClinic belongs to the church-run Caritas Trägergesellschaft mbH (cts). This includes various competence centers as well as various institutes and MVZs.

Modern techniques and selected staff are used to provide patients with the best possible individual care.

The following facilities are located on site: proctology center, pain clinic and a center for orthopedics.

Services:

Various events, such as courses for expectant parents, are offered; on the website, you can find videos presenting, among other things various departments of the hospital; furthermore, a checklist is provided that lists all the necessary items for a stay. As an emergency patient, you have the possibility to hand in your valuables against receipt. During the stay, the use of the room television as well as the telephone is free of charge. They also offer support groups, counseling, pastoral care and religious services.

Gastronomy:

For lunch, one has a choice of different menus designed to meet various patient needs – these include: Chewing and swallowing difficulties as well as diets and food intolerances, also one has a choice of whole foods, light whole foods, vegetarian and vegan food.

In the afternoon you can have coffee and cake and snacks, in the summer this is also possible on the terrace.

Normally the menus can be viewed online, but due to the current Corona situation this is not offered.

Visiting Hours:

The hospital does not have set visiting hours; however, quiet hours between 10 p.m. and 6 a.m. should be respected. Due to the Corona pandemic, visitors are currently not allowed; they are only permitted in exceptional cases.

Personal items for a patient can therefore only be dropped off at the entrance between 7:30 am and 7 pm.

Directions:

Bus: Directly in front of the main entrance there is a bus stop of line 133, which runs hourly from Monday to Saturday.

By car: Coming from the A623, A1 and A6 freeways, at the end of St. Ingberter Straße turn into Klosterstraße, follow the road for about 250 meters and you will reach the hospital. Passing the building on the left, you will come to the parking spaces. The exact directions are described here.
