Position
The cafeteria of the Saar University of Music is located directly in the building of the university itself. You can find it at the following address: Bismarckstraße 1 in 66111 Saarbrücken. When you pass the entrance area, keep to the right. Follow the corridor to the next left and you will have a direct view of the cafeteria!
Parking is available at the Q-Park Staatstheater, Schillerplatz 1, one minute’s walk away. The cafeteria is close to the park at the theatre, and the Saar is also a two-minute walk from the cafeteria. Another parking option is the Q car park at the castle, which is located on the other side of the Saar.

Transport connection
The easiest way to reach the building is by using public transport. Take bus lines 126, 128, 152, 154, 172, 197, 321, 473, 506, N1, N15 and R10 to the St. Johanner Markt or Staatstheater stops. From St.Johanner Markt you still have a 350 metre walk ahead of you. This can be walked in five minutes. You have to walk from St.Johanner Markt via Faßstraße and Schillerplatz. From the Staatstheater you have a shorter walk ahead of you. The distance is about 170 metres and the average walk is 2 minutes. You only have to walk across Schillerplatz.
Opening hours
Only during the lecture period:
Monday – Friday: 9.30 a.m. – 2 p.m.
The serving of prepared dishes takes place between Monday – Friday: 11.45 am – 2 pm.
