Location

The quiet location gives this residential complex its charm. The Eschberg is located just outside the city and with its 7000 inhabitants is a rather small district and therefore very familiar and quiet. At 340m above sea level, you have a beautiful view of the city of Saarbrücken and also of the beautiful nature that surrounds the Eschberg.

Due to the close location to the main street „Breslauer Straße“, there are many free parking spaces available if you are traveling by car.

A store for your daily needs can be reached in 700m or 8 minutes walking distance, so you don’t have to drive into the city to do your shopping. There is also the Saarbasar at the foot of the mountain, in 1800m or 21 minutes walk. There are many shopping possibilities, from drugstores to electronics stores to snack bars.

If you need a break from studying, there is a hiking trail nearby that leads to the Schwarzenberg Tower, where you can enjoy a panoramic view of Saarbrücken. There you also have the possibility to picnic and enjoy the nature.

Mobility

There are two bus stops in the immediate vicinity of the housing estate, from where you can take bus line 107 to Ilsestraße every 30 minutes. The trip takes 10 minutes. From there it is only 500m to the HTW Rotenbühl. If you have to go to the University of Saarbrücken, you can reach it from Ilsestraße with bus line 109 in 10 minutes.

If you want to go to the city center, just take bus 107 and you will arrive at the Johanneskirche bus stop in the city center in another 7 minutes.

Rooms and costs

The twelve-storey housing estate consists of three-room apartments with an area of 86 m². Each apartment has a shared kitchen with modern fitted kitchen and dining area for 4 people. Likewise, each apartment has a bathroom with a bathtub.

The rooms are painted and equipped with durable flooring. In each room you will find a bed with slatted frame and mattress, a closet, a desk with chair and a bookshelf. Here you can choose between two types of rooms:

Area: 14 m² – Inclusive rent: 305 € – Deposit: 480 €

Area: 23 m² – inclusive rent: 345 € – deposit: 600 €.

The inclusive rent includes the flat rate for operating costs and the deposit payment is due once and will be returned after a proper move out.
