Location:
The apartments are located in Bayernstraße number 12 and 14 and can be reached from there via a small pedestrian staircase. The neighborhood is relatively quiet and there are some nice green spaces that can be found in the street and significantly improve the quality of life.
In the immediate vicinity you will find grocery stores such as Aldi, Lidl, Netto and Edeka within walking distance, as well as interesting facilities for students such as the gym „FitX“. In addition, pubs, clubs and shopping opportunities are very easy to reach either on foot, by bike or with a short bus ride.
Transport:
The central location in St. Johann is not only very popular with students due to its proximity to the well-known pub district „Nauwieser Viertel“, but also offers a very good connection through the train station „Saarbrücken Ost“. This can also be reached on foot in less than 15 minutes. The Saarbahn can be easily reached via the train station of Hellwigstraße and the train station of Uhlandstraße and there are several bus stops that lead to the colleges and universities, as well as to the city center.
Bayernstraße can also be reached by car within a few minutes via the freeway exit of the A620 in the direction of „City-Ring“ via the Bismarck bridge and it is also possible to drive by car via Hellwigstraße right up to the front door, which makes moving house in particular very pleasant.

The apartments are each 4ZKB apartments which are on average around 78m². They are furnished and also already offer an internet connection included. A kitchen is already included and the bathrooms each have either a shower or a bathtub.
There is free parking in front of the house, but you can also park in Bayernstraße without a parking ticket. Since the apartments are located in a kind of „private way“ where people rarely pass by, you can lock your bike well in front of the front door without much fear of bike thieves.
Since there is unfortunately no elevator available and the apartments are partly located on upper floors, they are unfortunately not particularly barrier-free.
The apartments are rented at a basic rent of approximately 165€ per person and are primarily given to students. The exact price may vary depending on the room size. In addition, there are 155€ in additional costs, which include both heating and water costs. This results in a warm rent of about 320€, plus a deposit of one month’s rent.
