The FrauenGenderBibliothek Saar is a small, specialized library in the St. Johann district near the Nauwieser Viertel. It offers extensive information and networking opportunities on the topics of women and gender research. Under the slogan „Better entitled right away than later“, the library advocates for an equal coexistence of the sexes and minority rights.
The library offers communal seating as well as separate workstations. A computer and printer are available.
In addition, weekly events are organized. For example, the After Work „FeminisTisch“ is open every second Thursday of the month for all people who want to exchange ideas.
Location & Transportation
The library is easy to reach due to its direct location at the S-Bahn stop „Uhlandstraße“. From the main station, you can get there in 6 minutes with the S1 line. The entrance and the library itself are at ground level.
