The Caritas Klinikum Saarbrücken is an associated hospital of the Caritas Supporting company and consists of the Caritasklinik St. Theresia, Saarbrücken- Rastpfuhl and the St. Joseph Hospital, Saarbrücken-Dudweiler.
The present Caritas Klinikum St. Theresia is considered one of the oldest hospitals in the Saarland capital.
The Rastpfuhl Hospital, then called „Rastpfuh Hospital“, was built in 1901, major expansion and construction work was carried out in the 1970s and 1990s.
As a specialist hospital, the Klinikum St. Theresia has 29 specialist clinics and 621 beds.
There are 10 centers of expertise or special medical services.
The hospital is recognized as an academic teaching hospital of Saarland University.
The cts school center is also attached to the hospital for the training and continuing education of specialized nurses, midwives and speech therapists.

The elevator located behind the reception desk provides access to the stations.
To the right in the lobby is the elevator to stations 10, 12, 15, 21-24, 31-35 and 41-44 as well as to the restrooms in the basement.
A large cafeteria is located in the basement, currently reserved for patients and employees due to the coronary angiography. Snack machines are also available in the basement for visitors.

From Saarbrücken main station, the Saar-Bahn   ; (direction Heusweiler, Siedlerheim, Riegelsberg Süd) leaves at 5 minute intervals in the direction of the stop; „Pariser Platz“.
From there you can walk across Lebacherstraße to the left into Rheinstraße.
From the bus stop (..NAME) at the level of the kindergarten, you arrive directly in front of the hospital with the bus lines 124, 129 and 165.

By car:
From Saarbrücken’s main train station, take the Trierer Straße onto the Westspange in the direction of the Caritas Clinic. At the Ludwig traffic circle, turn left into Lebacherstraße. Follow the Saarbrücken station „Cottbuser Platz“ to the stop „Pariser Platz“. Then turn left into Rheinstraße. The hospital is on the right side of the street, 750 m further on.
