The pond

The Deutschmühlen pond runs through the site and surprises with its water play and water organ during the day at every full hour. Around the water you can observe many species of birds like ducks, herons, geese and swans. In summer, it is possible to enjoy the view from the water on one of the pedal boats.

Events

Various events are organized at the garden throughout the year.
Public guided tours are organized every 1st and 3rd Sunday from April to October.
Musical offerings include „Die Muschel rockt“, the SaarLorraine Symphony Orchestra, dance classes, strolling concerts or concerts on the occasion of the Music Festival.
Events for children are also organized throughout the year: Kinderfest, Halloween for children and school races. The German-French cultural festival „What’s New“, the days of the imagination and the Middle Ages, church services or prayers, the plant flea market and the learning festival show the diversity of the cultural offers.
Since 2021, the cozy Christmas garden has been held here every year on the first weekend of Advent. In addition to the 140 booths selling culinary and Christmas goodies, there are Christmas sounds from the stage on the water and from the band shell.

Beyond the events, it is always possible to take a little green break in the park. The long paths are also very popular with joggers and cyclists.
