The student residence at Försterstrasse 70 belongs to the SBT Immobilien Gruppe in Saarbrücken. The dormitory at Dudweilerstraße 93 and Sulzbachstraße 53 also belong to them.

Location
This student residence is located in the St. Johann district and is therefore very centrally located.
The nearest grocery store is Netto at the crossing of Dudweilerstraße and Richard-Wagner-Straße, which is 7 minutes away. Other grocery stores like Aldi or Rewe are not that far away. Within 8 minutes, you reach the Bahnhofstraße with many retailer to go shopping. Even the Europa-Galerie is close to the student residence. In the other direction of the Bahnhofstraße, you reach the St. Johannes Markt.
Down the Försterstraße and across the Richard-Wagner-Straße you reach the Saarbrücken Nauwieser Viertel with nice cafes, small stores and also bars.
Furthermore, the long-distance bus station is a 5-minute walk from the student residence, and it only takes about 12 minutes to get to the central station.
On the side of Dudweilerstraße is the bus stop Brauerstr./Fernbusbahnhof. From here, you have a direct connection to the HTW Saar and the Saarland University (UdS):

The easiest way to view the exact timetable and current travel times is to visit the Saarländischen Verkehrsverbund (saarvv). And if you are on the road, you can use their App.
It also keeps you informed about current delays and departure times.
Furthermore, the nearest Saarbahn station has the same name as the Johanneskirche and is reached in about 9 minutes. You can take it to Lebach-Jabach, and even make a „trip“ to Sarreguemines in France.
Due to the central location, parking in the area is strenuous. So, you would rent the parking space in the underground garage of the student residence. The price for this starts at 60€ plus deposit from 62€.
Otherwise, you can apply for a resident parking permit at the Bürgeramt. It allows free parking in this area.

The student residence was built in 1996. In addition to one-room apartments, two-room apartments are also available for rent. If needed, they are already furnished (wardrobe, desk, bed), but also unfurnished. Also, each student apartment got a kitchenette.

One-room appartement:
Living area: between 17sqm and 35sqm.
Rental prices: from 300€ to 405€
Deposit: from 585€ to 795€.
The rental prices already include other expenses, except internet and electricity.
Two-room appartement:
Living area: between 33sqm to 46sqm.
Rental price: 405€ to 525€ for one person
450€ to 530€ for two persons
Deposit: from 795€ to 1.035€.
