The scholarship advisory service is the first point of contact for all questions concerning the financing of studies at the htw saar.

There are several contact points for this subject. All of them are located on the campus in Alt-Saarbrücken. The campus is easily accessible by bus, getting off at the stop „Betriebshof Saarbahn, Saarbrücken“ or at the stop „HTW/SWS“. Building 11, also called Haus des Wissens, is located between the htw saar car park and the library. This is where the consultation room is located on the second floor in room 11.02.06. There are regularly changing consultation offers. The building has a lift and is wheelchair accessible. In building 8 is the office of Jutta Bauer, in room 8127, who is responsible for the financing of studies. Her office is currently only accessible by appointment by e-mail.

The Consultation room
The consultation room has several time slots in which different consultations are offered.
On the website you can see the time slots. For scholarships, the counselling offers of Arbeiterkind.de are interesting. (1st Monday of the month from 1.30 p.m. to 5 p.m.) and StudienStiftungSaar (2nd Tuesday of the month from 12 noon to 4 p.m.)

Conditions for scholarships
Contrary to what many people think, scholarships are not only awarded to the best of the best.
