The Philo Café at UdS offers Persian meals daily from Monday to Friday.
Location
The café is located on the campus of Saarland University in building B4.2. Diagonally across the street you can find the Unifit Center. The university is easily reachable by public transportation. From the bus stop „Universität Campus“ it is approximately a 5-minute walk to the Philo Café, which passes the Audimax, the Sulb and the Unifit.

The Philo Café is open daily from Monday to Friday from 7:30 am to 4 pm.
Menu
The café sells Persian food, which is freshly prepared on the spot. There are ten different main dishes daily, which vary every day of the week, including vegetarian, vegan and halal dishes. There is also a large selection of drinks and various desserts. The prices of the dishes are very student-friendly and do not exceed 7€.
Additional information
Philo Café offers indoor seating, as well as a terrace with outdoor seating. There is also the possibility to buy the food as take away. During lunchtime, there might be a larger crowd and a longer waiting time due to the lunch break. It should be noted that it is not possible to pay with a student ID in the café.
Covid information
Currently, the café is open, but only offers takeaway meals. The indoor seating, as well as the outdoor seating in front of the café is currently unavailable (as of January 2022).
